The Nepal Special Fx & Free Transaction Promotion
1. Eligibility:
a. The Special FX + Free Transaction Promotion ("Promotion") is available to new customers of Himalyan Remit who sign up through Himalyan Remit's special FX rate-branded landing page and successfully complete their first transfer.
b. The Promotion is limited to one (1) per person and is not valid for existing customers.
c. This Promotion cannot be combined with any other offers.
2. Limitations:
a. Himalyan Remit reserves the right to limit the number of individuals per household eligible for this Promotion.
b. Any attempts by a customer to abuse the Promotion, such as using multiple identities or registrations, will result in disqualification at Himalyan Remit's sole discretion.
3. Promotion Benefits:
a. Eligible customers will be entitled to:
- One (1) free transfer without transaction fees on their first qualifying transfer.
- One (1) transfer to Nepal at the foreign exchange rate transfer to Nepal at the foreign exchange rate ("Special FX Rate '') published on Himalyan Remit's Special FX branded page or mobile application at the time of submission.
4. Free Transfer Conditions:
a. The free transfer benefit will be directly applied to the customer's first successfully completed transaction during the Promotion Period.
b. Transfers submitted outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible for the free transfer offer.
c. Free transactions do not apply to transfers made in USD to USD or transactions made with credit cards.
5. Special FX Rate Conditions:
a. The Special FX Rate will be applied directly by Himalyan Remit to the customer's qualifying transfer, up to a specified Promotion Cap.
b. The FX Rate is valid for qualifying transfers submitted within the Promotion Period and must be successfully completed to be eligible.
c. Subsequent transfers below the Promotion Cap will not be eligible for the Special FX Rate.
6. Transfer Completion:
a. A transfer is considered "successfully completed" when funds are deposited into the recipient's bank account or picked up at a cash pick-up location.
b. If the transaction is not successfully completed, the Special FX Rate available at the time of initiation will not be applied to any future transfers.
7. Excess Amounts:
a. Amounts sent in excess of the Promotion Cap will be sent at the FX Rate applicable to the service selected by the customer at the time of the transaction.
8. FX Rate Changes:
a. All FX rates are subject to change at Himalyan Remit's discretion.
9. Other Promotions:
a. By participating in this Promotion, customers may be ineligible for participation in other promotions run by Himalyan Remit.
b. The election to participate in this Promotion is final.
10. Promotion Period:
a. The Promotion is valid for qualifying transfers submitted within a specified Promotion Period.
b. The Promotion Period begins on start date at 12:00 AM and ends at 11:59 PM end date.
c. Himalyan Remit's server is the official clock for the Promotion.
Website and Social Media Policy
a. The Customer consents to receiving electronic, phone, and mail communications from Himalyan Remit upon registration on the Website, and personal information including confidential data may be collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
b. It is the Customer's responsibility to maintain the strength of their password and to ensure that log-in details are kept confidential. We highly recommend changing passwords periodically to ensure security. Use of the Customer's password by any other person may result in the immediate cancellation of the Services.
c. The Customer acknowledges that any use of the Customer's registration information by any other person, or third parties, is strictly prohibited. The Customer agrees to immediately notify of any unauthorised use of their password or email address or any breach of security.
d. The Customer acknowledges that all activities in social media such as social networking sites (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) and professional networking services (e.g. LinkedIn) are considered public. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that any information posted or published through such sites do not compromise the security of the Customer's account.
11. Insufficient Funding:
a. Insufficient funding of a transfer will render the customer ineligible for the Promotion.
b. The Promotion will not be valid for any otherwise qualifying transaction that is canceled by the customer or by Himalyan Remit.
12. Limited Time Offer:
a. Himalyan Remit reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time, with or without prior notice.
b. Any qualifying transfer initiated prior to the Promotion's cancellation will be honored.
c. Himalyan Remit reserves the right to void the Promotion or individual transfers if they appear to be fraudulent or non-compliant with Himalyan Remit's User Agreement.
d. Himalyan Remit reserves the right to disqualify transfers that are deemed to circumvent Promotion rules or are abusive.
13. Compliance:
a. Participation in the Promotion is subject to all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.
b. Any information collected from customers as part of the Promotion will be subject to Himalyan Remit's Privacy Policy.
These terms and conditions govern the Himalyan Remit Special FX + Free Transaction Promotion. By participating in the Promotion, customers agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
